New 2019 Palomino Puma XLE Lite 17QBC
Palomino Puma XLE Lite 17QBC travel trailer highlights:
- Bunk Beds
- Queen-Size Bed
- Pass-Through Storage
- Coach-Net RV Technical and Roadside Assistance
- LED Interior Lighting
This Puma XLE Lite travel trailer is light weight and easy to tow because of its aluminum structure, but it is not light on amenities. With the exterior pass-through storage area, you will have enough space to bring along all of your camping necessities, as well as a few extras, and the kitchen pantry allows you to bring along all of the snacks you will need for game nights with the family. Because of the queen-size bed and bunk beds, this trailer can sleep five people while you travel so that no one has to miss out on the fun times ahead.
Palomino has graciously included with this trailer one year of 24/7 emergency roadside assistance through the Coach-Net RV Technical and Roadside Assistance program, which means that you can travel worry free every time you are on the road. The LED lighting that is located throughout this trailer will keep your eyes and your wallet happy because of the brightness it brings to the trailer and the money it saves you on energy bills. The skylight in the bathroom allows some extra sunshine to add a bit of cheeriness in the morning, and the tinted windows throughout this trailer are helpful in preventing fading of precious items inside.
Friendly StaffFamily owned and super friendly staff! The owner was so nice and drove us around in his truck on a windy day. First time RV purchase and they provided so much information! We visited all 3 locations and had the same wonderful experience! - Vince from Jersey City, NJ

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
